Clare Shailes is a proud mother, wife and artist living in Mullion, Cornwall United Kingdom. This is some of her fabulous, vibrant artwork. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. In my humble opinion her ability to capture depth and soul in people’s eyes, in her portraits, is simply amazing.
You can find more of Clare’s artwork on: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Clares-Art-Page/224489020966687
Look at how she captures light, depth and humanity in these eyes! Breathtaking!
A dear artist friend of mine by the name of Barbara Berney introduced me to a wonderful art group on Facebook,
International Visual Artists Challenge (IVAC).
The International Visual Artists Challenge (IVAC) is a Facebook group founded by artists for artists for the purpose of sharing art and inspiration.
IVAC encourages visual artists to enter one art piece per week into the monthly challenge album.
Artists may submit only their own, original work. This is very important as we do not want plagiarism taking place in our group.
At the end of the month, a panel of judges and group admins chooses a winner and honorable mention for each of seven categories.
Since IVAC opened on August 5, 2012, we have grown to nearly 500 members in less than two months.
Our group includes fine artists from throughout the world and we strive to keep a high quality of works within the monthly challenge.
We encourage all visual artists to join our group.
We do check to make sure that prospective members are really artists, so if there is no art showing on their profiles, we message them, asking for samples.
Our goal is to inspire others to create and express themselves, and to have some fun with it along the way.
